Back in the late 80’s Anita Baker shot to the top of the R&B charts with a soulful song entitled “I’m Giving You the Best that I Got”- Of course her hit was about her love for a man, but I do wonder if we as children of the Most High God demonstrate that same type of spirit for the Master. Do we still give Jesus the best that we’ve got? 1 Corinthians 15:58 implores us to always abound in the work of the Lord. (i.e. move beyond mediocrity)
How’s your abounding going? If you have been sloughing off from fully serving the Savior, why not repent and return back to the race of service. After all, God did give us His Son-Jesus Christ. The Best that He’s Got!!!!!

I've been saved going on 15 years. I've never not giving Jesus the best of me - faith and obedience.
God created use in HIS image. What better way to give God the best that WE have, than giving each other the best that we have here on earth. Surely,..if we represent love, forgiveness, and ALL things that Jesus displayed before the world,no doubt GOD's sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ would not be in vain.
