"Let's Dig Some Ditches"

Part 8: Crossroads Series --The Finale --  2 Kings 3: 9-20

It’s time to pick up your shovel and start digging ditches. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim 1: 7) What is keeping you from digging your ditch? Every believer must go outside to dig some ditches. What type of ditches?? Entrepreneurship, Education, Parenting, and Early Retirement are examples of different types of ditches we should be digging. What are you doing to get your blessing? We have to do the possible so that God can come in and do the impossible. We need to learn to dig a ditch of faith. In the bible, Noah built an ark, God brought the flood; and Moses put blood on the door post, God sent the death angel. Digging was tied to their deliverance and it also demonstrated faith in action.

What a powerful end to a dynamic sermon series! “It’s time to dig some ditches” Pastor Hamilton delivered eight great messages with the overall topic: Crossroads: “What do I do now?”

During this sermon series, have you learned that you can’t do this alone? It is our trust in God that allows Him to place people in our lives to help us make it through this thing we call “LIFE”. Praise God for those of you who finally “got it”! We, as believer, should lift one another up in prayer. We all want to know what to do when we come to the “crossroads” in our lives. Therefore, promoting us to ask: What do I do now? Which topic are you struggling with because things in your life don’t seem to be in your favor?

Part 1: Living Through a Let Down – Matthew 11:1-6

Part 2:I’m Caught in a Trap – Exodus 14:1-2, 9-22, 26-31

Part 3:It’s Comeback Time – Exodus 3:1-12

Part 4: Are you married to a Fool? – 1 Samuel 25:2-38

Part 5: God’s Working Another Way – 2 Kings 5:1-14

Part 6:It’s Time to Come Home – Isaiah 43: 1-7

Part7: Watch out for your Weakness– 2 Samuel 11:1-27 &2 Samuel 12:1 & 7

Part 8: Let's Dig Some Ditches – 2 Kings 3:9-20

A newborn baby expects food and clean diapers. The parents learn to make provisions for the baby, so that he or she will not experience hunger or have to wear the same diaper. That’s expected. It’s amazing how God can make provisions for His children before any problems in our lives occur? Let’s encourage one another! The longer your night, the sooner your morning is going to come. Praise God for loving us! “But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.” (Rom. 8:37)
