Be Careful How You Build

Genesis 11:1-9

We are all building something! The question is not only what are you building, but more importantly why are you building it? The people at Babylonia decided to build their own security ( a city) , their own salvation (a tower), and their own significance (a name) for their own glory. The end result was that their construction project was stopped and their community became stamped with the judgment of scattering confusion. (Babel)



What about you? How are you dealing with anonymity? How are you dealing with God’s command to keep moving?


Are you really building for the glory of God or shared glory with God? Be careful how you build, because what goes up must come down!
